Many pharmaceutical companies offer assistance programs for patients without insurance or Medicare/Medicaid. In some cases, even patients with insurance are eligible. These programs provide low-cost or no-cost access to drugs. Your doctor will probably need to contact the company to provide supporting information. Also, keep in mind that less expensive generic brands are available for some of these medications.
