Welcome to the Mike Nichols Fund of Hope donation page.
The Mike Nichols Fund of Hope has been created through the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis as a gift to Country Music Artist Joe Nichols by his fans. Mike Nichols, Joe's father, passed away in July 2002 from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a disease that causes scars to form on the lungs and hinders the lungs' ability to provide oxygen to the rest of the body. There is currently no treatment and no cure for IPF.
 We, the fans, decided to donate to the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis in memory of Joe’s father as this year's fan gift to Joe. However, after hearing from many fans with family members or friends suffering or have also passed away due to a pulmonary disease we decided to create the Mike Nichols Fund of Hope. This living memorial will continue to receive donations year round and be a gift that will continue to provide hope long after this year's fan club party is just a fond memory.
We feel this personal gift to Joe from his fans brings to the forefront yet another way Joe connects with them.

You can donate to the Mike Nichols Fund of Hope by using any major credit card safely and securely by clicking here. When making your contribution, please note your gift is in honor of Mike Nichols.
** Please note that all contributions must be made in U.S. dollars.
The CPF will send a letter of thank you to each person who donates. Your name will be included on a special letter to be presented to Joe at his fan club party. This special letter will let Joe know who the fans are who have made a donation to the Mike Nichols Fund of Hope.
In order for your name to be included in the special letter to Joe, your contribution must be received by the CPF no later May 31, 2007.
In addition, each participant will have the option of purchasing a yellow rose at the fan club party to give Joe that day. The color yellow was chosen because it represents friendship.
Anyone making a contribution may also submit a photo of a family member or friend with a pulmonary illness. We'll be putting together a special card for Joe with these pictures. Please email Marilyn at wiggiemd@sbcglobal.net for information on where to send your photos.
If you are unable to donate, please help promote our page by sending our URL to all your friends and family or contacting the fan club for the html code to post our URL banner on your myspace or any other websites.
